• Location information: your town or county.
• Entry details: your contest category, rent-vs-own status, and your written story (up to 100 words).
• Photos: the three images you upload (a wide shot, a close-up, and a golden-hour shot of your space).
• Technical data: standard web analytics such as device type and general location, collected automatically when you visit the Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Administer the contest, including judging, verifying eligibility, and contacting winners;
• Feature selected entries in contest promotion, our editorial media coverage, and related marketing (see our Terms & Conditions for the specific media license you grant);
• Send you contest updates, and, if you opted in, our bi-weekly newsletter of local space tours and design tips;
• Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party vendors to operate the Site and process entries, including a form provider (Tally.so) to collect submissions and a graphic-design provider (Canva) to generate nominee graphics. These providers process your data on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain contest entry information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the current contest cycle, resolve disputes, and maintain records of past winners. Newsletter contact information is retained until you unsubscribe.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at plantedwithcareawards@gmail.com. Note that photos and stories featured under the media license described in our Terms & Conditions may remain in previously published materials even after a deletion request.

This contest is intended for entrants who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you provide. No online submission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
