The Planted With Care // 2026 Awards (the "Contest") is sponsored and administered by Planted with Care ("Sponsor").
The Contest is open to legal residents of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, judging partners, and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible.
Entries will be accepted beginning July 15, 2026 and ending September 30, 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be considered.
Limit: one entry per person during the Entry Period. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
Renters and small-space growers.
DIY makeovers, before-and-after.
Outdoor hangout and entertaining spaces.
Indoor plant collections moved outside.
Kitchen gardens and pollinator patches.
Entries will be judged by a panel selected by the Sponsor, which may include representatives from partner nurseries, landscape design businesses, and Sponsor staff (the "Judges"). Entries will be evaluated on:
Judges' decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.
One winner will be selected per category. Each category winner will receive:
The sign and gift card will be mailed together to the address provided by the winner; Sponsor is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged in shipping once delivered to the carrier. Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $150. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or substitute prize will be offered, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a stated prize becomes unavailable.
Winners will be notified by email within 7 business days of judging using the email address provided at entry, and will be asked to provide a mailing address for delivery of their prize package. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. If a winner cannot be reached within 5 days, or fails to return required documents or a mailing address, Sponsor may select an alternate winner in its discretion.
By entering, entrants grant Sponsor the rights described in the Terms & Conditions to use submitted photos, stories, and entrant names for judging, promotion, and editorial coverage of the Contest, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits content that is not their own original work, or violates these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's control impairs the integrity of the Contest.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected. By entering, entrants release Sponsor, its affiliates, and judging partners from any liability related to participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of a prize, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
This Contest is governed by the laws of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
